heya everyone im back from fiji flew in sunday night.

had an awesome time great weather really hot, drank lots of cocktails, went snorkelling in the middle of the ocean saw a little shark and some awesome fish.

got dropped off in the middle of the ocean on a sand dune (see pic).

while i was in high school in the mid 60's i was told that the end was so near that i would not get to graduate from high school so i should not be concerned about being drafted due to the war in vietnam.

well i got drafted but did not pass my physical due to a medical problem.. i then considered go to school in the late 60's to enter the medical field.

i was encouraged by the elders not to do this because the end is so near and why get schooling for a profession that you will not need in a few years?

Facial Hair or no.

Well I've had some sort of facial hair continually for over twelve years now +/-. I vary from a goatee to a full beard. My wife gets upset when I shave it all off and when she isn't happy, Im not happy, if you catch my drift.

How often do you bathe?

i heard something and i would like to know the truth so i'll ask this question..... how often do you bathe and change your underwear?.

i heard that people from certain places don't bathe for days and only change their underwear when it gets really deteriorated.. .

Geez oww, what’s the matter with you people? Bathing twice daily? You’ve got to be kidding me right?

Personally I shower on average once a week. I usually change my underwear every other day or there a bouts. It really depends on time of year and what type of activity I’m involved in. Of course when physically active or in the summer time when sweating more I shower more frequently.

Right now I think that I’m going on about two weeks since my last shower though (checking calendar). Yeah, that’s right; it’s been almost two weeks (Super Bowl Sunday). I guarantee that no one on this forum would have a clue if they were sitting next to me right now.

Hearing "cleanliness is next to godliness" pretty much destroyed my sence of hygene. LOL

WHAT HAS JESUS BEEN DOING AS ENTHRONED KING since 1914?

not much.. he is directing the watchtower society to print magazines that contain errors.. the goats he separated from the sheep have had to be put back in with the sheep because of policy changes.. stray sheep have been ostracized and turned into lamb stew.. the war to end all wars (wwi) has been followed by wwii, korea, viet nam, and the cold one.

(no need to mention the war on terror.).

there have been earthquakes, famine, disease and a lot of marrying and eating at fine restaurants.. 1925 came and went without any ancient worthies moving in to the residence at beth sarim.. the world got so dangerous in 1975 nobody noticed it.. the generation that saw all the signs and wonders has been dropping dead like flies.. brothers and sisters who use to serve jehovah and reverence jesus now know it is the governing body who calls the shots and jesus is only "a" god with a widdle "g".. the preaching work has been so successful that not one person in a hundred can give a coherent answer to what jehovah's witnesses actually believe.. hundreds of books printed by the watchtower society have begun with the stale adam and eve story and thousands of jw's have nodded off at meetings hearing it all for the umpteenth time.. the end has been "near" but, the answer "to what" needs shaping up a bit.. jesus use to be clean shaven, but, now has a beard like christendom said he did.. the superior authorities use to be jesus and jehovah, but, now they are the earthly governments just like christendom said they were.. all in all, as ceo of the hottest most wonderful government ever known to mankind (albeit invisible) jesus hasn't had a hit since wwi and is turning into the biggest disappointment since milli vanilli.. tsk tsk tsk.. .

Talked to an elder about the BIG NEWS

i had the opportunity to have a discussion with an elder the other day.

we were both in a public place and we started to talk.

he was depressed because one of his teens is now df'ed.
